Joy Teriyaki Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Its was OK overall. I actually prefer the two 181st locations over this one. Why. Not sure maybe staff needs to be trained better but the food was not consistent. We only ate here 3 time though. I like chicken breast well done over the standard dark meat.

Went after this place first opened and had horrible service, but the manager gave me a complimentary meal on my next visit. This experience was MUCH better!! The teriyaki chicken is addicting!!

I came here when it first opened and it was gross. We got some tempura shrimp that wasn't clean. They just said, "sorry, we get it frozen" and didn't even offer a refund; I had to ask for a refund. Poor service and low quality food that isn't worth the price.

Went here because the kids were hungry and it was next to the store we were at. First I was appalled that you have to pay an extra $1.50 for anything other than white rice, since the prices were already pretty high for a little fast japenese place. The food came out and I was even more appalled at the food. The orange chicken was one of the grossest looking and tasting things. There was no orange flavor (SURPRISE! It's called orange chicken for a reason!!) Also the teriyaki chicken and noodle bowl was very subpar. You pay an extra $1.50 for noodles, making this small bowl almost $9, and there was no veggies in them. Will DEFINATELY never return. I will stick with my local sunny hans or even panda express.

Placed a to-go order. Good customer service. Was very quick and easy. Ordered 2 chicken teriyaki bowls with sides of steamed and stir fried veggies. Food was hot, fresh, and juicy. Very satisfied. Will be back soon (:

Not understanding all of the bad reviews on here, we LOVE this place! The huge spicy ramen bowl is enough for two and only $7. Only $1 more to add a bunch of shrimp! The salmon (cooked) bento is really good and so huge I usually eat it for two meals. Well-lit, clean, friendly employees, and free jasmine tea. The place is always busy, so we're not the only ones who like it!

The brand new location in wood village serves a similar and matching menu to the Troutdale store that we've frequented many times before. Food is of equal carry out style variety. Seating is available, though tables of 6 maximum guests per table. My guess is 30 or so patrons max could fit in this smaller footprint location. Service time was adequate 5-10 min for in house dining. The space is well lit & clean, though brand new. We'll see how clean it stays. The Troutdale location has many areas that are white, and dirt shows up on much of the areas as a result. Smartly, this new space is all wood tones, so at least it may appear cleaner. Teriyaki chicken and Sweet & sour chicken are the staples we always prefer, and the food quality for take out chinese is the best in the area we've had. Service staff is friendly and prompt. tables were immediately cleaned as patrons left.

Not bad! I get the same thing every time I visit so I can only speak on that but the service is nice, the place is CLEAN, and the food is good. I get the teriyaki chicken bowl (how vanilla right!?) and it's always made promptly and comes out hot and delic

This is another place I wished I could give ZERO Stars!!! This place is near work so I have given it 3 chances!!! The 3rd time I was SICKER THAN A DOG!!! The place is usually filthy, the young workers are too busy sending and receiving text messages and can't clean up anywhere. The Trash is SO close to some of the tables and I find that gross, I don't want to be where people are scraping their dishes and smell the remaining food residue in the trash. ICK!! The 3rd time I went...my chicken was NOT COOKED!! I tried not to look and not to make a scene. I went back to work and I was later violently vomiting for literally hours!! I will NOT be back, not work the risk!

Went based on yelpers comments, Not a good experience for me. 1. Teriyaki Prawns- first off if they're not a 10-13 they're frickin shrimp. 2. Clean the crap tube , nasty 3. Too much breading 4. The egg rolls were mushy inside, not worth iti 5. Mizo soup- chicken broth with 6 green onions and 6 tiny pieces of tofu and you get about a 1/2 cup of the soup. 6. No fresh tea!!! Seriously The pro's the white rice was good ... Really ... Find a mom and pop for good teriyaki. Those that said this place was good... Don't know good or they work for Joy.

I got the chicken yakisoba and it was amazing! There is seating available if you want to dine in however, I took my back to work to eat. I have frequented other places similar in the area and find this one to be the least greasy and has a great portion size I ate until I was full and still have enough left over for another meal!

This was our second time here to get carry-out. So delicious..both time I got the beef teriyaki and was very pleased both times. Large portions and really good. Came with two scoops of rice and a side salad (basically lettuce and a few shreds of carrot). I don't like sesame, so I don't eat the sesame dressing they provide, since I eat it at home I just use my own dressing.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
